It wasn't until Gaga's 2009 hit "Just Dance" that mainstream pop music really began to take off. Gaga was suffering from a labral injury in her right hip. She had been suffering from it for a few months, hoping to be capable of continuing her tour. After a performance in Toronto left her unable to walk without pain and suffering a lot and in a lot of pain, she was admitted to a hospital to undergo surgery. the tour was canceled.
