As Hugh Grant's movie Four Weddings and a Funeral was the focus of worldwide interest in the media, Hurley accompanied Grant to its Los Angeles premiere wearing a black Versace gown with gold safety pins. The dress instantly earned the attention of media. Her association with Estee Lauder has been the most memorable moment in her career. Hurley was hired by Estee Lauder as her first model when she was at the age of 29. Since 1995, she's been used as a face for Estee Lauder's cosmetics including Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington is her best famous role, which she played in the Mike Myers spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me, both of which were huge hits.
